Therapeutic Agility is Coming to the Midwest! October 12-13
Since KC and I began our journey, new resources have become available for running fearful dogs in agility. An exciting outlet is the Virtual Agility League (TM) or VALOR. Founded by Michele Godlevski in January 2011, VALOR enables agility enthusiasts with fearful dogs to compete without the environmental stress of a trial. Participation is open to anyone, in any location that meets a basic set of standards and is preapproved. Course maps are posted online and the participants videotape their runs to "compete."

Michele will be bringing VALOR to the Midwest October 12-13 at WAG in Spring Grove IL with a seminar entitled, "Specialized Agility Instruction for Fearful, Reactive, or Distracted Dogs." She will teach us how agility can be therapeutic for fearful dogs by covering:
  • Agility Methodology that is “Outside the Box”
  • Agility Distraction Proofing Techniques
  • Agility as “Play Therapy”
  • The Virtual Agility Revolution
